FC Groningen is interested in signing Noah Weisshaupt, who is currently on loan from SC Freiburg to Hannover 96. The winger has played six games for his temporary employer and scored once. According to Transfermarkt, Weisshaupt has a market value of 2.5 million euros. He is still contracted to Freiburg until mid-2027, but the loan agreement with Hannover 96 includes an option to buy. It remains to be seen whether Hannover 96 will exercise this option and other clubs are also interested. FC Groningen has already made inquiries and VfL Bochum may also be interested in signing Weisshaupt. This is not the first time Weisshaupt has left Freiburg on loan. He has also played for Legia Warschau and FC St. Pauli. 'There are more interested parties from the Bundesliga, but also from abroad. It will become clearer soon.' It will be interesting to see what competition FC Groningen will face.
